For a while this man lived in Texas and I was lucky enough to call him my friend. He taught me many lessons I carry with me today and was like a brother to me. I've tried for years to reach out but understood that maybe he wanted to leave what happened in Texas, in Texas. It pains me deeply to find this obituary. Lewis Gilliam shared his amazing sense of humor and love of nature and music with everyone. I just wished I could have called him brother one last time. Rest In Peace, Lew. All of our inside jokes were too crass for most audiences, so I'll just leave my love here for anyone returning to remember our fallen brother. He was a good man.
