Clifford was a fine, upstanding gentleman whom I made acquaintance with back in 2006 in Sewanee, TN. He was a tall, handsome, polite person who quickly became a regular customer at Mountain Breeze Ice Cream shop, where I worked. I became a regular Hospitality Shop volunteer knowing the manager (Cliff) was in need of volunteers n I totally enjoyed my years there. I also volunteered at the Sewanee Sr Citizens Center n knew n worked beside him n as a trusted friend. Cliff had big shoulders n amazingly took care of his mother in her last many years until her health deteriorated. He was very active for a man his age n served as President of the Sr Center for many years.
He will be sorely missed by those in the community who knew him. It was hard to miss that tall man in his big western boots n big hat…So loved….
