Raymond Elwood Thomas born August 9, 1950, to the late Marvin "Son" Thomas and Katherine Elliott Thomas of Monteagle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Thomas and Marvin Thomas Jr., and sister Daisy May Thomas.
He is survived by his sons, Jeremy (Andrea Tate) Thomas, Joseph (Leahia) Thomas; stepson Derek Layne; sisters Linda Nunley and Ann (Jimmy) Thurman; brother Billy (Vickie) Thomas; grandchildren Dylan Ladd, Jacob, Brittney, Autumn and Raylan Thomas; a ton of nieces, nephews, great niece and nephews, and great-great niece and nephews and friends. He was a lifelong resident of Monteagle and loved by all!
Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2 PM, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Monteagle with Dr. Clayton Jones officiating. A visitation with the family will be Friday from 4 – 8 PM.
