I first met Ellis and Carra while working as a Server @ Sizzler in Nampa, where they loved to come in for AYCE Fish & Chips. I always enjoyed waiting on him. When I moved over to the Greenleaf Cafe, I always served his Coffee and we'd visit and he'd flash his winning smile. He and Carra have been so missed since moving away, but I hope he found peace and is at rest and knows how much he was loved.. Mona Rhodes

I was very saddened to hear of Ellis's passing. He was a wonderful guy, always willing to help in any way he could. He helped fix many things and solve problems for us when he worked at the Homedale High School, and always with a cheerful smile. My deepest condolences go out to his sweet family. He will be missed.

Ellis always had a gathering of friends for morning coffee anywhere he went. Before leaving Idaho for Tennessee that place was Nathan's Greenleaf Cafe in Greenleaf, Idaho. There is a table in our cafe with Ellis's name carved in it. All the gang has always asked about Ellis and Carra ever since they moved, and they all are sorry to hear he has passed/ They all send their love to the Family and especially Carra. All the cafe employees as well send their best wishes. He was always raising everyone's spirits!!!
