Mitchell Hoyt Leiderman, age 67, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed from this life Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was born June 9, 1954, to Homer Mitchell Leiderman and Lily Oneida Barbee. He worked as a commercial fisherman and carpenter most of his life but his favorite pastime was logging. Hoyt loved everyone and some of his favorite things to do were playing music and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Jody Leiderman and Katherine Thomas and two grandchildren, Haley Curtis and Cheyanne Leiderman. He is survived by his wife, Patti Nunley; children, Anthony Hoyt Leiderman, Mitchell Bryan Leiderman, Stacy Michelle Leiderman, Amanda Faye Layne, Kevin Mitchell Thompson, Terry Norman, Timothy Nunley and Kelsey Nunley; siblings, James “Michael” Leiderman, Stacey Gravitt, Danielle Leiderman, and Allan Leiderman; grandchildren, Casey Meeks, Lily Leiderman, Jonathan Thompson, Chase Layne, Jake Layne, Carrie Norman, Eric Norman, Heathergail Norman, Dalton Bishop, Alicia Thompson, Chasity Leiderman, Jade Hill, Keisha, Taya, Aeriel and Serenity; and great-grandchildren, Kendrick, Jai Jai, Octavia, Jesse, Abby, Kenslie, Hennessy, Terri, Erin, Adrianna, Sebastian and Owen. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Plainview Cemetery. Online condolences and memories can be shared with the family at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
