Obituary of Jonathan "Noodle" Mansfield

Jonathan “Noodle” Mansfield, age 60, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, December 19, 2020. He was employed by Ravago Manufacturing and was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Mansfield and stepmother, Linda Mansfield. He is survived by his father, Jerry Mansfield; wife, Patty Mansfield; children, Jon Michael Mansfield, Brandy (Cody) Dyer, Sara (Andy) Pearson and Boone (RussLynn) Milner; siblings, Rene’ Long, Donna Walker and Steve (Lisa) Mansfield; stepsiblings, Kathy (Don) Baxter, Todd (Lisa) Hendrix and Jama (Eric Gipson) Turner; grandchildren, Bryleigh, Charlie, Rory, Tripp and Ayden; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. With a heart as big as the ocean and a smile as bright as the sun, Jon “Noodle” Mansfield lived his dash fully and fearlessly. He loved big and he loved hard; if you were loved by “Noodle”, you were loved for life. His kindness was genuine and never ending, and his support and encouragement were limitless. Having fun and living life to its fullest, spending time with family, hunting, joking, playing cornhole and doing whatever was needed to put a smile on your face, these are just a few of his favorite things and best assets. Jon never met a stranger, gave to anyone in need, would lend a hand, offer a shoulder, hug the tightest and love without waiver, without judgement or haste. He touched the lives of so many in his sixty years with us here; he was a best friend in every sense of the word. While our hearts are broken and our world has been dimmed, we know “Noodle” has been welcomed by all and will continue to brighten our lives from above. We love you. We miss you and We’ll see you soon… Let em’ fly! Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22 from 5-8PM at Cumberland Funeral Home- Monteagle.
