I first met Roger in the late 80s when I was working for the state of TN as a VR Counselor for deaf and HoH people. I also am a late deafened adult. I was immediately impressed with Roger and the way he handled the many adversities of his life. We immediately became friends. My husband and I visited him at his home in Tracy City and later we became friends on FB. I had not seen him on FB recently and had commented that to my husband. I was very shocked and sad to see his obituary in he newspaper. My husband and I would like to be with the family today, but we are both in our 80s and avoiding crowds. Roger loved his large family. He told me about his sister, Nelda: which is also my name. Then in recent years, I could tell that Colton was his pride and joy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Nelda Twitchell
