Obituary of Henry Cleston Green

Henry Cleston Green, age 87, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on September 3, 2020 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Born to the late James Author and Lena Mae Green, on December 15, 1932, Henry was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of The United Gospel Fellowship Church of Tullahoma, Tennessee. Henry had a passion for music, especially playing the guitar in churches across Middle Tennessee. Mr. Green had been a former member of The Calvary Temple Singers and More for Christ Gospel Groups. He dedicated his life to gospel music but also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Diana Green; one brother, Chester (Helen) Green; one sister, Velma Coffelt and many special nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James “Arcie” Green and five sisters, Ruth Knowlan, Margie Layne, Bertha Shrum, Elsie Rhodes and Cleo Kilgore.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no services are scheduled at this time. The family encourages everyone to say a prayer and sing a song in his honor, while attending your own church services, if possible.
