I took care of Mr. Green for the last year 1/2, everyday just about. I went into pre term labor with my son on June 1st and then was on maternity leave and chose not to come back because of how bad Covid got at TSVH, so I haven’t seen Mr green since then. I never got the chance to say goodbye because I went into labor unexpectedly and I can’t visit the facility due to Covid. He was a great man. I would wake him up every morning with a STEAMING hot cup of straight black coffee (he didn’t want it any other way) and assist him with eating his breakfast. Every morning we would talk about all kinds of things like, farming, his time in service, his wife, his time in a band, evvvvverryyythinggg..... I also told him everything. He was like my therapist. I would tell him about my daughter (who he met, and she adored him), he met my fiance, he went through my whole pregnancy with me, so he listened to all my complaints about me working full time and being 5,6,7 months pregnant. He always told me how I needed to slow down for once and take it easy. I didn’t know that taking his advice would result in me never seeing him again. I will miss you forever Mr. Green! You were one of the most amazing men I’ve ever met in my life and I’m honored I had the pleasure of knowing you. I love you!

PS: Mrs. Diane, you will be in my prayers and I will be thinking of you. I know how strong of a woman you are. If you need anything, let me know. 615-554-8681
