Eddie Rogers posted a condolence
Wednesday, April 15, 2020
Dear Janice and Family,
We would like to express our condolences on the passing of your dear husband. Now that your Labor of Love is complete may God now go to work to heal your hearts as you travel on a grief journey for a while. The good news is that Jesus Knows and Jesus Cares about what is going on in your house and in your heart. It has been said that, "healing comes through story." Keep on telling the stories of your dear James for as long as you want to. I pray that you will have a large number of friends who will come close and listen carefully. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you go forward to discover the "new you." May He send that peace that passes all understanding. All of us at the American Legion are very grateful to honor a faithful Vietnam Veteran who served well.

I regret that I did not know James well, but I do know that he has two amazing daughters in Shellie and Sallie. They are a great tribute to his name.
