Obituary of James Mitchell Anderson

James Mitchell “Rust” Anderson age 61, of Tracy City passed from this life Friday evening, November 23, 2018, at STRHS in Sewanee. He had worked in road construction before retiring. “Rust” hobbies were hunting & fishing, his social hobby was just “driving around”.

"Rust" was born in Grundy County on January 16, 1957 a son of the late Ernest R. Anderson, Jr. and Betty L. Parson Anderson and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Anderson; brother, Randy Anderson; sister-in-laws, Donna Anderson, Agnes Anderson.

 Survivors include his daughters, Michele (Kevin) Byers, Elizabeth (Kyle) Cantrell; brothers, Roy Anderson, Greg (Fawn) Parson; sisters, Rhonda Fults, Vickie (Steve) Grayson; grandchildren, Rushell, Juli, Charles, Ander, Rees and Harper, 3.5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ralph Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.
