Obituary of Christy Meadows Campbell

  Christy Michelle Meadows Campbell, age 43 passed away suddenly on Friday November 16th at Emerald Hodgson Hospital.

 Christy was a member of Tracy City First Baptist Church where she and David had served as youth leaders. She was a paraprofessional at Monteagle Elementary School where she touched the lives of so many. To know Christy was to love her. Her smile could brighten the darkest days. Her love for her family and friends was endless.

Christy is preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Diane Smartt Meadows; father in law, Carl David Campbell; grandmothers Grace Cantrell, Virginia Meadows, uncle Jerry Meadows, cousin Jonathan Meadows; niece Sasha Leroux.

She is survived by her husband, Carl David Campbell II; daughter Victoria Grace Campbell, son Christopher David Campbell; father, Haskel (Marie) Meadows; sisters Candie (Brian) Sanders; Heather (Erik) Childers; brother in law, Joshua (Kelly) Campbell, mother in law, Ellen Campbell; sisters in law Connie Campbell, Chastity (Nabil) Inoubli; nieces, Madison, Maci, Amelia, Gracelyn, Alexus; nephews Victor, Eli, Garrett, Tyler, Trenton. Special family friends Jerrett, Julie, Betty and Randie Keel. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

  Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in the Foster & Lay Chapel with Brother Ben Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-9 P.M. On line condolences may be shared with the family at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
