Obituary of Dean Argo

Monteagle- Robert Dean Argo, passed away Monday November 12, 2018 at Southern Tennessee Regional Heath Care System, Sewanee, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father Dewey Barney Argo; grandparents Maude Murray, Sally Ann and Doston Argo.

Dean loved baseball since he was a youth. At 12 years of age, he pitched a one hitter All Star Game representing Collinwood Little League of Cleveland, Ohio.

Dean had a strong Christian Faith and a very giving heart, supporting such organizations as Wings of Eagles and his home church Highland Church in Monteagle, with tithes and offering. His favorite gospel group is the singing Isaacs. Dean worked at his home church doing outside groundskeeping maintenance whenever physically able. Dean loved his family and friends and they loved him and will miss his kindness and goodness forever.

He is survived by his loving mother Jennie Argo, brothers; Greg and Wade Argo, sister; Pam Terrill, nieces; Jennifer (Brandt) Poore, Jenna Argo, Nephews; Michael Terrill, Zachery Byers, and Jacob Argo, great-niece Avery Poore, along with many numerous cousins.

Services will be held Saturday November 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee chapel, with Brother Tyler McCullough officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Coalmont Cemetery. Visitation Friday November 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00PM.  Online Condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
