Obituary of John David Dove

John David Dove, age 68 of Tracy City passed away this Thursday, November 1, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Susie Dove; son, John David Dove, Jr.; brothers, Dewy, Jack, Claude, William Dove; sister, Bert and great grand daughter Aubree. He was a loving family man, who loved to watch Braves baseball, but most of all he loved the Lord.

Mr. Dove is survived by his loving wife Mavis L. Dove; sons, Arnold (Stephenie) Dove, Jon Dove; daughters, Maria (Brian) Gaither, Melinda (Doug) Drake; brother, Leon Dove; sisters, Betty Goodwin, Bonita Childers; grandchildren, Paige, Ashley, Sierre, Caleb, Dakota, Jimmy, Sarah, Wyatt, Bailey, Logan, D.J. and Tanner; great grandchildren, Aspen, Ryland, and Meadow; along with numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews who loved John.

Services will be held Saturday November 3, 2018 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Brother Donnie Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Shrum Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 PM. Online condolences can be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net
