Obituary of Ernest Donald Shrum, Sr.

Ernest Donald Shrum, Sr. age 77 of the White City community near Tracy City passed away Wednesday at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Shrum and Julia Harris Shrum; son, Kevin Shrum; brothers, Billy Griffith, Ray Shrum, David Shadrick and Houston Shadrick. He was a retired equipment operator and enjoyed riding his motorcycle on the scenic back roads of Tennessee.

Survivors include his children; son, Ernie Shrum; daughters, Susie Shrum Foutch (Kelly); Christy R. Argo (Johnny); brother, Mike Shrum; sisters, Orpha Myers Buchannan and Peggy Gross; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ralph Shrum officiating. Burial of ashes will follow in Coalmont Cemetery.
