Obituary of Jayson Lee Campbell

Jayson Lee Campbell, 49, of Nauvoo, Alabama passed away on October 2nd in Birmingham, Alabama.

 

Visitation will be from noon until 3:00 p.m. on October 6, 2018 at Cumberland Funeral Home in Tracy City Tennessee.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on October 6, 2018 at Cumberland Funeral Home with Matthew Meeks, officiating.   Burial will follow at Greg’s Cemetery.

 

Jayson Lee Campbell was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to E. Neil Campbell and Pam E. Rich.  He attended high school at Grundy County High School and graduated in 1987.  He was married to his beautiful Wife, whom he loved with all of his heart, Mechelle Campbell. He was a self-employed farmer and loved raising his chickens, horses and any other kind of animal that his children wanted to raise.  He was an avid outdoorsman and was able to be with his son, Jacob, when he harvested his first deer this past deer season.

 

Jayson Lee Campbell is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Margaret E. Layne, and Jewell and “Pib” Campbell, as well as his bother-in-law Ransie Whitman.

 

Jayson Lee Campbell is survived by his Wife, Mechelle Campbell, and their three children who he adored, Moria, Zoe “princess” and Jacob “bubba”; his parents, E. Neil Campbell and Pam E. Rich; Grandfather, James W. Layne; Sister, Holly L. Whitman; Brother, Blake (Felicia) Rich; Brother, Neil (Leslea) Campbell, and a host of nieces and nephews that loved their uncle: James G. Whitman, Ciara N. Whitman, Braxton L. Whitman, Dawson L. Whitman, Braylon M. Rich, Colston B. Rich, Addison A. Church, Payton J. Campbell, and  Cayson J. Campbell. Jayson Lee Campbell was also survived by many friends and family that he shared a special relationship.

 

He was so loved as a son, husband, father, brother and friend; words cannot express how he will be missed by all of us. We all love you Jayson Lee Campbell.
