Obituary of Ubert Tony Anderson

Mr. Ubert Tony Anderson age 78 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed from this life Sunday morning, September 30, 2018 at Bailey Manor in Manchester. Tony was born in Grundy County, a son of the Elisha Anderson and Dorothy Collins Anderson and was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Edward, John Wesley, Robert N. and Douglas Anderson.

Tony loved the outdoors, riding in the woods, working in his yard, mowing the lawn. He had retired from Wheland Foundry, was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany and served in the Tennessee Army National Guard.

Survivors include his daughter, Dorothy (Donny) Ray; step-daughter, Heidi Johnson; step-son, Robert W. (Joyce) Henn; brothers, Gene, Herbert (Loulene), Dave (Jozell), C.L. (Mary Jo), Floyd (Pat); sisters, Betty (Ernest) Parsons, Gussie Anderson and Mae Anderson; grandchildren, Brandy (Cody) Dyer, Sara (Andy) Pearson and Jon Michael Mansfield; great grandchildren, Bryleigh Quinn Dyer and Charli Kate Pearson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Winton and Bro. Claude Hoback officiating. Full military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Burial will follow in the Greg Cemetery.
