Obituary of Timothy Joseph Butler

Mr. Timothy Joseph Butler age 53 of Tracy  City, Tennessee passed from this life Friday, July 13, 2018, in El Centro, CA while on a long haul run to California. Tim loved being a truckdriver and traveling the roads and seeing the country. He had been driving for 30 years before his sudden and unexpected death.

  Born in Wooster, Ohio Tim was a son of the late William Butler and Kathleen Clark Butler and was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard “Rick” and William J. Butler. Tim loved spending time with his family especially with his grandsons, he was an avid sports fan watching the Cleveland Indians; NASCAR and Jimmy Johnson; a diehard Cleveland Browns fan.

  Survivors include his wife, Pearl Butler; children, Matthew and Bernard Butler, Lelah Butler;  sister, Christine Parker; 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and friends all across the United States.

  Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Monteagle Chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Doug Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
