 Coalmont – Mrs. Juanita Green Shrum, 83, passed away, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home with her family at her bedside.  She was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on January 13, 1935 to Wesley Green and Lillie Mae Southerland Green who preceded her in death along with her husband, Mose Shrum; sister, Earlene Garner.

She had worked as a dietician at Sewanee Hosptial and food service at the Univeristy of the South.  She owned operated a Chicken House at her home in Coalmont.  She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Tina) Taylor of Coalmont and Ronald (Mikki) Taylor of Washington, Indiana; daughter, Mildred (Tim) Sanders of Tracy City; sister, Geneva Rose of Alto; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Michael Johnson officiating with Burial to Follow in the Eastern Star Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee. www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net
