Obituary of Lisa Ellen Byers

Mrs. Lisa Ellen Fredrick Byers, age 53 of Monteagle, was born on February 21, 1965, to the late Paul Austin Fredrick and Jean Ellen Campbell Fredrick in Sewanee, TN. She was a housewife and attended the Church of God of Prophecy is Tracy City. She loved spending time with her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. Some of her favorite hobbies were playing UNO and Trouble with her mother and her mother-in-law and watching “The Pioneer Woman” on TV.

In addition to her father, Lisa is preceded in death by one grandchild, Breanna Thomas. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Daniel Byers of Monteagle; son, Kacie Bozeman (Jody Rowan) of Chattanooga; daughters, Sheena (Thomas) McCormick and Melissa Henderson, both of Monteagle; grandchildren, Daniel “Jitterbug” and Mia McCormick; mother, Jean Ellen Fredrick of Monteagle; brother, Paul Fredrick of Cowan; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Wendy Craft and Jeannie Kyle; and best friend Peggy Craven

Funeral services for Lisa will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Cumberland Funeral Home in Monteagle with Iva “Red” Craven officiating. Burial will be in the Monteagle Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 4:00 – 9:00 at the funeral home.
