Obituary of Garret Bryant

Tracy City-Bill Garret Dean Bryant, age 22, son of Troy and Cindy Bryant passed away Friday night, May 11, 2018 at Southern Tennessee Regional Medical Center, Sewanee, Tennessee. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded is death by his maternal grandfather, John D. Curtis, paternal grandparents, W.R. and Faye Bryant, uncles Jerry Bryant and Chris Bryant; wife's stepfather, William Layne.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife Whitney and daughters Brooklynn, Gracelynn and AubreeLynn Bryant, sister Casey (Brandon) Dove, nephews Cadon, Tryston, nieces Layklon and Emmarie Dove, maternal grandmother/nanny Gail Curtis, maternal grandfather,Pa Bill Johnson (Pat), mother-in-law, Rhonda Davis Layne, father-in-law, Waymon Davis; sister-in-law, brother-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, a special friend Gage Coppinger and a host of other friends.

Garret was a 2014 graduate of Grundy County High School. He loved to hunt, fish, and he loved taking care of his chickens. He loved to help his dad in his meat processing business during hunting season but more than anything he loved spending time with his precious daughters.

Services will be held Wednesday May 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Myers Hill Church with brother Dennis Rollins officiating. Interment following at Pryor Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM also at Myers Hill Church. Arrangement made with Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
