Obituary of Connie Levan Meeks

Tracy City- Mrs. Connie Levan Meeks born October 6, 1958 passed away Monday afternoon at STRHS-Sewanee, Tennessee. She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee to the late James Alton Levan and Lena Mae Scott Levan. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Junior, Gene, and Leon Levan sisters Judy Meeks and Helen Anderson and one grandchild.

Connie was a faithful member of the Gum Springs Congregational Church, and loved serving the Lord.

She is survived by her loving husband Danny F. Meeks ( Tracy City), daughters: Tammy (Russell) Brown, Stacy (Jason) Johnson, Tracy Whitney (Joshua) Lockhart brothers; Daniel Levan, Stephen Levan, Gary Levan, and sister Bonnie Meeks; Grandchildren Jacob, Jarren, and Jaylyn Johnson, Amy, Bubba, Josiah, and Alayna Lockhart, Tiffany Reid, and Samantha Dykes.

Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday May 3, 2018 in the Foster and Lay Chapel, Tracy City, Tennessee, with burial following at Pryor Ridge Cemetery. Vistitation will began Wednesday May 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
