Obituary of Faye Bryant

Mrs. Elsie Faye Bryant age 71 of Tracy City passed away Friday, August 26, 2011, in Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. She was a daughter of the late Sam Wilson Anderson and Rosie Lee Braden Anderson and was preceded in death by a son, Christopher D. Bryant; brothers, Kirby Wilson Anderson and David Ray Anderson. Mrs. Bryant attended Gum Springs Congregational Methodist Church and retired from Jasper Elementary School. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved gardening; cooking and watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Survivors include her husband, W.R. Bryant; children, Jerry (Dorie) Bryant, Tracy City, Sammy (Susan) Bryant, Jasper, Troy (Cindy) Bryant, Tracy City, Sherrie L. Bryant, Tracy City and Cathy Bryant, Denver, Colorado; brothers, Hershel Anderson, Sequatchie and Sam Anderson, Jr., Tracy City; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ernest Lockhart and Reverend Jesse Lockhart officiating. Burial will be in Pryor Ridge Cemetery.
