Obituary of Jerry Wayne Schild

Mr. Jerry Wayne Schild age 76 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away at his home in Coalmont on Friday morning, April 20, 2018.

He was a son of the late Audrey Lucille McGovern Schild and William Martin "Marty" Schild. Jerry retired from the Chattanooga Fire Department with the rank of Captain. His hobbies were many and stories were more, he loved fast cars and fast...., Jerry knew and was known by many people far and wide, he always had a story to tell you, he was a character and enjoyed living the part.

His wishes were to be cremated, a celebration of Jerry's life will be Monday at 5:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Clayton Jones officiating, assisted by anyone willing to share a story about Jerry. Tuesday April 24, 2018 at 12:00 PM will be the burial of cremains at Plainview Cemetery all friends and family are welcome to attend.Online condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
