Obituary of Sariah Louise Dempsey
Tracy City – Mrs. Sariah Louise Dempsey, 76, passed away early Saturday April 7, 2018 at her home. She was born in Tracy City on September 9, 1941 to Dillard and Lillian Virginia Smartt Sanders who preceded her in death along with her husband, Robert Lee Dempsey; son, Mitchell Dempsey; sisters, Loleta Sanders and Doris Smartt; brothers, Stacy and Malon Sanders.
She attended the Pryor Ridge Congregational Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Junior (Sherry) Dempsey and Wesley (Pattie) Dempsey; daughters, Shirley (Jerome) Bray, Freda Clark, Lynn (Michael) Steel and Tabitha (James) Seagroves; brothers, Weldon, Billy, Adam, Homer (Wanda), Dillard (Beatrice), Leslie (Jeanette) Sanders; sister, Edith Nunley; a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3:00 Monday at the Pryor Ridge Congregational Methodist Church with Pastor Bobby Winton and Minister Mike Rigsby officiating with burial to follow in the Pryor Ridge Cemetery.
