Obituary of David C Kilgore

Mr. David C. Kilgore age 74 of the White City community near Tracy City passed away Monday at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. He was a son of the late John and Abba Jean Kilgore and was preceded in death by a daughter, Dava Kilgore; sister, Cora Jean Nunley; brother, Thomas E. Kilgore,I.

  Mr. Kilgore attended Tabernacle of the Lord Church and was retired from T.V.A. and was a member of Local 846 Laborers Union. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening and was the owner & operator of DCK Fireworks.

  Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Kilgore; son, Robbie Kilgore; daughter, Hannah Kilgore; brother, John E. Kilgore; sister, Diane Meeks; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Dakota, Bethany and Madison; 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Yancie Layne officiating. Burial will be in Burns Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-9 P.M. At the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
