Obituary of Bobby Coffey

Mr. Bobby Ray Coffey age 74 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at his home. He was born in Magoffin County Kentucky a son of the late Chalmer & Grace Brown Coffey. Mr. Coffey was a retired truck driver and was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Wages Coffey; daughter, Barbara Amelia "Amy" Anderson; brothers, Billy Joe, Ronnie, Jack and Benny Coffey; sister, Janie Reed. Survivors include his children, Terry and his wife, Joann Coffey of Ludlowe, KY, daughter, Manilla Grace Coffey of Tracy City; grandchildren, Chrsty, Gerald, Michele, Bobby Joe, Marie, Tonya, Robert and Elizabeth; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening in the Foster & Lay Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 5-9 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. Mr. Coffey will be taken to Salyersville, Kentucky for a visitation Friday evening at Lake Front Church Of God followed by a funeral service on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Donavon Finch officiating. Burial will be next to his wife at the Burton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
