Obituary of George Stanford Orange

Tracy City- George Stanford Orange passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, he was born June 5, 1941 to Minnie Sander’s Orange and Buford Orange of Tracy City, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Stella Fredrick Orange, brothers; Howard, Scott, James, and Wallace Orange, sisters; Pauline Shadrick and Lennie May Levan.

George was a retired coalminer of 35 years and loved outdoors working in his garden. He also loved family events like Easter.

He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Orange (Dale Krahn) of Tracy City, step daughter Charlette  Byers of Tracy City, honorary sons; Bobby Huffstuttler of Tracy City, Chris (Angie) Huffstuttler of Tracy City, and Terry (Tammy) Jones of Tracy City, brother Les Orange of Tracy City, sisters; Ruby Campbell of Coalmont and Irene Fackrell of Atlanta, GA., grandchildren; Jessica Wise, Candy Byers, Ashley Lawson, Callie Huffstuttler and Stella Ann Huffstuttler, great grandchildren; Tyler and Kadien Byers, C.J. Wise, Trever, Lexie, Justin, and Jessie Gilliam and Asia Lawson. Along with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Foster and Lay Chapel. Interment will follow at the George Orange Family Cemetery.
