Obituary of Betty Jean Morrison

Funeral services for Ms. Betty Jean Morrison, age 76 of Monteagle, will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2018, at 1 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home in Monteagle, with Mr. John Potts and Ralph Shrum officiating. Burial will follow in the Summerfield Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, February 10 from 5 - 9 PM at the funeral home. Ms. Morrison passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Waters of Winchester.

Betty was born on March 24, 1941, to the late Freddie and Letha Morrison Dishroom in Palmer, TN, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Kilgore. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Kilgore and wife Christine of Decherd, and Christopher Morrison and wife Lina of IL; daughter, Jamie Lucy and husband George of Monteagle; grandchildren, Candis Gill and her husband Lee, Mitchell Kilgore, Hollie Kilgore, Dalton Morrison, Timothy Lucy, Zachary Morrison, and Haylie Lucy; great grandchildren, Bailee, Waylon, Jeffery, Wesley, Jayden, and Shianna.
