I tried to look up Mark today as I wanted to call him, and found this information about his passing.
I worked with Mark for a couple years on his construction crew, about 1999.
Not reaching out and renewing our friendship and work relationship is one of my greatest regrets in my life .
I loved Mark and the respect he showed to me and each member of our crew. I always wanted to be more like him. I am not able to do construction anymore as I fell and got hurt about 19 years ago. But if I ever build something , I think of Mark. When I stuff tools into the trunk of my car, I think of Mark and his new Volvo he called his Swedish pickup truck . He once gave me an old Audi to keep as my car wasn't working, I used it to help buy a newer car. He taught be to do sheet rock and plumbing and to be a much better carpenter. He was patient with me. Once when we were very busy , he even let me have time off to go to the temple, as he said , that is most important. He was a Spiritual man that cared deeply for others and their beliefs , and I hope to renew our relationship in heaven one day. I was so sad today , I didn't realize how much I cared for him. I will to see you again. Hugs to all his family.

I can't believe you have been gone a year dad. Everyday is like being in a nightmare that I can't wake up from. I wish I could hear your voice just one more time. To give you a hug and tell you I love you. Untill we Fly again watch over me. I'll never have another wingman like you. I love you Dad.

It was such a pleasure to have had an in-law like Mark Lovett. From the first time I met Mark, he welcomed me as a new member of his extended family. Mark was always attentive to the thoughts and ideas of others and was ready to engage in a conversation on almost any topic. If you had an interest, he was ready to listen and try to understand what was important to you. If you had a question, he was ready to try and give you an insightful answer. Mark respected everyone, and was always ready to provide an uplifting compliment for the achievements of others. The quality of his life was reflected in the quality of relationships with others and his work. He had great respect for all ideas and points of view. Myself and my family will miss Mark and pray that Mark will Rest in Peace.

I am sending My sincerest and deepest condolences to Claire, the family and friends. I am praying that God will comfort and strengthen each one of you during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 & 14 says “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” I hope these words will bring you peace.
