Mrs. Janice Oliver, age 76, of Monteagle, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Emerald-Hodsgon Skilled Care in Sewanee, Tennessee. She was born in Coalmont Tennessee, a daughter of the late Albert P. Ross and Nancy Dykes Ross.
Survivors include her children, James David (Betty) Oliver and daughters, Betsy Oliver and Nancy Oliver (Kevin) Sweeton, all of Monteagle; brothers, Jerry (Judy) Ross of Clyde, N.Y. and John Jacob "Hunky" Ross of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Clayton Jones and Minister Ray Winton officiating. Burial will be in Coalmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee 37356, 931-924-2381.
