Obituary of William B Land

Tracy City-Mr. William B. Land, 63, passed away Sunday December 17, 2017, at STRHS-Sewanee. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 29, 1954.

 

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard W. Land and brother-in-law, Gary “Pop” Roberts.

 

He worked with CSX Railroad for 42 years, was an avid outdoorsman, and attended Myers Hill Congregational Methodist Church.

 

Mr. Land is survived by his mother Mary Cunningham Land; daughters, Kellie Lusk (Dawayne), Devon Langley (Nat); son, PFC William Tyler Land (Devin); sisters, Priscilla (Larry) Graham, Angie Langford, Darlene ( Charlie) Straussbaugh; grandchildren, Corbin Lusk, Jackson Langley, Kathryn Lusk, Warren Langley, and Kallie Lusk, along with several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday December 20, 2017 at Myers Hill Church, with Bro. Dennis Rollins and Don Hutcheson officiating, Interment will follow services at Plainview Cemtery. Visitation will also be held at Myers Hill Church from 4:00-9:00 PM Tuesday December 19, 2017. Arrangements have been made by Cumberland Funeral Home in Tracy City, Tennessee.
