Obituary of Freddy Wayne Bailey

  Mr. Freddy Wayne Bailey of Sequatchie, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the hospital in Sewanee. Freddy was born in Columbus, Georgia on March 23, 1949 to Fred and Della Mae Worley Bailey. He joined the army and served in the Viet Nam War, after his military service he returned to Monteagle and worked as an auto/diesel mechanic until he retired. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were; step-mother, Lorene Baily; brother, Jackie Duke; granddaughter, Bailey Marie Meeks.

  Survivors include his wife, Martha M. Bailey; children, Lisa (Duane) Stephens, Steve Bailey, Erin (Steve) Hoback, Kerry (Jamie) Meeks; brother, George Bailey; sisters, Trilby Bailey and Pat Still; grandchildren, Cody, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Rebecka, A.J., Josh, Chase, Connor, Christian and Samantha; 6 great-grandchildren; niece, Miranda Bailey.

  Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
