Obituary of Roger Vaughn Campbell
Tracy City – Mr. Roger V. Campbell, 70, passed away, Wednesday December 6, 2017 at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on July 28, 1947 to James M. and Margaret Sanders Campbell who preceded him in death along with his brother, James E. Campbell.
Roger was a US Navy Veteran. He had owned and operated Campbell’s Tire and Auto along with Campbell’s Vintage Automotive in Tracy City. He was a member of the Tracy City Street Rodders and The Sportsmans Club.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Campbell along with several nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
Family and friends will gather at the Plainview Cemetery for a graveside service Saturday at 1:00 PM with Minister Clayton Jones officiating. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee. www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net
