Obituary of Sr. Bone

Johnnie Loyd Bone, Sr., 78, of Coalmont, TN, passed away at Memorial Hospital Wednesday, July 27. Mr. Bone was retired from the Tennessee Department of Public Health and owned Bone Farms and Real Estate. He was preceded in death by wife, Joan Evelyn Bone and parents, Tillman and Annie Bone; and was a member of the Sequatchie Valley Lodge 563 F & AM. Survivors include children: Dinah Joan (Ricky) Meeks, Monteagle, TN; Johnnie (Katherine) Bone, Jr., Hazel Green, AL; Sherry Ann Meeks, Tracy City, TN; Jeffrey (Dawn) Bone, Hughes Springs, TX; Belinda (Ernie) Church; and Jerry (Candace) Bone, Monteagle, TN; Sisters, Peggy Hooper, Whitwell, TN; and Hatha Rae McDonald, Atlanta, GA; Grandchildren: Stephen, Juliana, William, Adam, Dakota, and Bricen Bone; SSgt. Johnnie (Jessica) Bone, III; PFC Jeremie Bone; Joshua (Jaime) Meeks; Jessica Meeks; Brooke Church; Glen Ernie (Tasha) Church; Blake (Kevin) O'Neal; Joan Lierin (Christopher) Achord; and six Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Reverends Danny Coffelt and Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Gardens.
