Cowan- Mr. Howard T. Winton, 83, passed away Friday morning August 11, 2017 at his home. He was born September 21, 1933 in Coalmont, Tennessee to the late Leonard and Nina Winton. He is preceded in death by sister Ruth Northcutt; brothers, Jamie Winton, Wayne Winton, and Dale Winton.

Mr. Winton attended the Winchester Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Winton; son, Mike Winton (Tullahoma, Tn.); daughters, Gayle VanHooser (Monteagle, Tn.), and Patricia Winton (Monteagle, Tn.); stepchildren, Randal Baldwin (Bethpage, Tn.), and Rodger Baldwin (Atlantic Beach, Fl.); brother, Ray Winton (Coalmont, Tn.); 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Terry Herndon and Bro. Ray Winton officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00PM- 9:00 PM at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee. Online Condolences can be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net
