Obituary of Jewel Cunningham

Mr. Jewel Everett Cunningham, age 90 of Tracy City, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Bailey Manor, Winchester, Tennessee. He was a retired coalminer, timber man and had worked as a machinist for many years before his retirement. Born in Tracy City, Tennessee he was a son of the late Emmit and Ida Cunningham and was preceded in death by his wife, Iona Watson Cunningham; brother, Kennerly Cunningham. Survivors include his sons, Eugene A. (Patricia) Cunningham, Freemont, CA; and Freddy (Myrtle) Cunningham, Tracy City, TN; stepson, Marshall (Judy) Watson, Talapoosa, GA; brother, Cecil Cunningham, Tracy City, TN; two grandchildren, Charles K. and Tracy Cunningham.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Clayton Jones and Reverend Freddie Savage officiating. Burial will be in the Fall Creek Cemetery in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-9 P.M.
