Obituary of Charles Edward "Buck" Hampton
Tracy City – Mr. Charles Edward “Buck” Hampton, 70, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, July 25, 2017. He was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on February 4, 1947 to Thomas E. Fultz and Edna Mae Hampton who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Connie Jean Hampton; brother, Corbert Fultz; sister, Jocelyn Moses; grandson, Joshua Buck Hampton.
He was a lifetime resident of Grundy County and attended the Church of God. He was retired from the Silo Plant at Monteagle.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Ann Hampton; son, Buck Eugene Hampton; brother, Mark Fultz; sisters, Nadine Northcutt, Pelham, TN, Nadene Moore, Tracy City, Portia Phillip and Vicki Taylor of Kentucky; companion, Tammy Miller and children, Jodie, Christie, Misty, Bill and Bailey Miller; grandchildren, Charles Anthony (Elizabeth) Nunley, Brandy, Lashay and Jessica Hampton; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 4:30 PM Thursday in the Foster and Lay chapel with burial to follow in the Plainview Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PMWednesday at Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee. www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net
