Obituary of Frank Delano Roosevelt Gipson
Monteagle- Mr. Frank Delano Roosevelt Gipson, 81, passed away Wednesday July 19, 2017 at his home. He was born in Monteagle, Tennessee on October 1, 1935 to Robert Lee Gipson, Sr. and Dauntie Layne Gipson who preceded him in death along with brother, James Gipson; sisters, Alene Conder and Evelyn Gipson; grandson, Jeramie T. Layne.
He was a member of Harrison Chapel Church, Sewanee Lodge #405 F&AM, and a 32˚ Mason.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Worley Gipson; sons, Michael Gipson (Joy), Dwayne (Wobbler) Gipson (Beverly); daughters, Deborah Anderson (Larry), Gwen Nunley (Tim), and Beverly Sitz (Gerald); brothers, Robert Gipson, and Howard Dean Gipson; sister, Levyonne Featherston; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Freddie Harris and Brother Dennis Rollins officiating with burial to follow in the Summerfield Cemetery.
