Obituary of Steve Michael Worley
Monteagle – Mr. Steve Michael Worley, 60, passed away Tuesday July 11, 2017 at the Bridge at Monteagle nursing facility. He was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on November 19, 1956 to James and Margaret “Sue”Guess Worley who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Ronnie Lee and James E. “Jim” Worley; sister, Agnes Worley; nephew, Gary Lee; brother-in-law, Teddy Ray Sanders.
He enjoyed fishing and University of Tennessee football and had been employed at Walmart before his health declined.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda Worley Reas and Sandra Sanders; brothers, Bobby (Janice) Worley and Phillip (Sue) Worley; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister John Potts officiating with burial to follow in the Monteagle Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee. www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net
