Burna Deane was a lovely person and as one of her kids for babysitting, I looked up to her and wanted to be as beautiful as her!! Anyhow, I am praying for all of you and asking the Lord to give you strength through this ordeal. I know He will provide peace for each of you knowing the she is in Heaven with Him.

Billy and Family; we love you and pray for you during this time. So happy we were able to visit and say our goodbyes. When talking with me, Burna would always turne a negative to a positive with something funny and her quirky laugh. Sis I will see you again soon. Thankful you are healed now and enjoying the fruits of your labor...with Jesus.

Mr. Sheldon,
I was so saddened to see the notice on Facebook of your precious wife's passing. My Mother, Ruth Northcutt, was your neighbor. She thought you both were so very special. Thank you for all the loving kindnesses you and Berna showed her while she lived across the street. My condolences to you and all your family.

Dear Billy, Michelle, Samantha and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Burna's passing. I am heart broken for all of you. Several weeks ago before Big David died we had been remembering all the times when our children were little, that we spent with you over at the farm on Freemont Road. What wonderful memories those were for us. Burna taught me a lot about cooking but mostly about how to enjoy life no matter what was going on. My children (David, Connie and Josh) loved Michelle and "Sammie" so much and every week would beg to go to ya'lls house and play. Burna was a wonderful hostess and always made us feel like we were one of the family and always welcome. I wish that we had come to see ya'll over the past few years since Billy and Burna moved back to the mountain. The one time that we did come to the house in Cumberland Heights felt like a homecoming.
I love you all and I, too, share in your sorrow.
Your entire family will be in my prayers.
