Obituary of Carl David Campbell

Mr. Carl David “ Big David “  Campbell age 61 of Coalmont, Tennessee died Friday, April 28, 2017. David was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on January 25, 1956, a son of the late Floyd Campbell, Sr. and Juanita Dove Campbell. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Campbell McDaniel; brother, Dammon Campbell; granddaughter, Sasha Leroux.

Big Dave was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a well known roofer in the construction business, his wife, Ellen and their crew had installed hundreds of roofs in new construction and re-roof of existing homes.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Campbell; children, Chastity Inoubli (Nabil), Little David (Christy) Campbell, Constance Campbell and Joshua (Kelly) Campbell; brother, Floyd Campbell, Jr.; sister, Linda Miller; grandchildren, Victor, Elijah, Tori, Garrett, Madi, Christopher, Alexus, Maci, Amelia and Gracelyn; great-grandchild, Jayce.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Brett Meeks and Brother Ben Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Bonny Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 5-9 P.M. On line condolences may be made at: www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.

Military honors are being provided by the Sequatchie Valley Veterans Honor Guard, Post Office Box 786, Jasper, Tennessee 37347.
