Mrs. Evelyn B. Meeks age 86 of the Payne’s Cove community near Pelham, Tennessee passed from this life Thursday, April 6, 2017, in a Manchester health care facility. She was a daughter of the late Sam and Leona Meeks and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Meeks; daughter, Billy Jean Argo; brothers, Buddy and Paul Meeks.
Survivors include her children, Larry W. Meeks, Ray Edward (Mary Ann) Meeks and Tenia Maria Rogers all of Pelham; sister, Ocie Click, Estill Springs; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Larry Campbell and Brother Smith officiating. Burial will be in Payne’s Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
