Obituary of Gary Jacobs

Gary Wayne Jacobs, 59, died unexpectedly Friday, March 10, 2017 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Gary was born on June 14, 1957 and raised in Sewanee, Tennessee. He worked at Goodman Manufacturing, Inc in Fayetteville, Tennessee. He had been employed previously with Shaw Industries for over 20 years. He loved to ride his Harley, classic rock music, and spending time with friends and family. Gary is survived by his daughter, Alicia (David) Pitts, of Woodbury, Tennessee; fiancé, Pennye Champion, of Winchester, Tennessee; and numerous cousins and countless friends. He is preceded in death my his mother, Bertha Louise Jacobs; grandparents, Sam and Ollie Mae Jacobs; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2017 with visitation from 10:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Online condolences may be made at: www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
