Obituary of Mark Nunley

Mark Douglas Nunley, age 63, passed away at his home in Fernandina Beach, FL, on Friday, March 3, 2017, following a long and courageous battle with leukemia. He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Jr. and brother Tim Nunley. Mark is survived by his wife of 15 years, Shirley; children, Robert (Harmony), Libby (Jason); mother, Violet; brother, Greg (Nancy); sisters, Rita (Willie), Geneva (Bill), Nila (Smiley), Marlene (Mike), and Terry (Rick); 11 grandchildren. Mark was retired from CSX railroad after 30 plus years of service. He was a pastor for the Primitive Baptist Church in Davenport, Fl. He was also a long term member of the Macclenny Baptist Church with his pastor David Crawford and a host of beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Orange Hill Church in Tracy City, burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:00 A.M. til 3:00 P.M Thursday at the church.
