Kathy Sampley Garner age 59 of Pelham passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in STRHS in Winchester. She was retired from Tennessee Department of Public Health as a regional administrator. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Minnie Ruth Sampley; sister Nell Wilson; brother, Jimmy Ray Sampley, her children's father, Kerry Clay and her husband, Phillip Garner.
Survivors include her children, Phillip Clay and Mindi Clay Parker; brothers, Richard (Angela Short) Sampley, Robert "Wayne" ( Kathleen) Sampley, David Sampley; sisters, Barbara (Tommy) Meeks, Delores Jean (Edward "Bud") Knott, Brenda (Charles) Cook; grandchildren, Rylee Westerfield and Jacob Knight; several nieces, nephews and an eternal friend, Debbie Shrum.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 25 at Monteagle First Baptist Church, 239 1st Street from 2-6 P.M. Online condolences may be made at:www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
