Obituary of Rondal Givens

Rondal Givens, age 70, Monteagle, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Sewanee, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by parents, Herschel Oscar and Rilla Mae Givens; uncle, Howard Leon Givens; aunt, Melonee Crowell Givens; double first cousins, Barbara Givens Boyette and Neil Givens; nephew, Michael Dwayne Patton. Survivors include his wife JoAnn Givens; Children, Cindy Caldwell (Jerry) Hargis; Stephen Caldwell, Rondal Owen (Sarah Douglas) Givens, Jr., Daniel Allen (Misty Holland) Givens; brother, Donald Allen Givens; sisters, Rona Lee Givens Meeks, Janet Givens Dies, Rebecca Givens Gipson, Cathy Givens Maples; grandchildren, Trenton Northcutt, Bethany Cheyenne Givens, MaryAnn Shelby Givens, Madison Sierra Givens, Rondal Owen Givens, III, and Daniel Grey Givens. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the Cumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Danny Coffelt officiating and Military Honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard, burial will follow Bethel Cemetery in Pelham. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-9 P.M. and Saturday from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
