Obituary of Shirley Ford

Shirley B. Ford of Sevier County, Tennessee passed away Monday, December 26, 2016.She is survived by five children; Cathy ( Elmer) Ridgdill and Brenda Price both of Tennessee; three sons, Scott Price, Stephen Price and Stewart Price all of Georgia; Shirley's grandchildren are Jesse, Joanna, Matthew, Casey, Katie, Cameron, Cory and Reign. Shirley was a native of Lithonia, Georgia and always loved talking about her childhood in Lithonia. Shirley was originally a secretary at CDC in Atlanta, Georgia and took great pride in that. She later became one of the first female welding students at Chattanooga State and became a welder for local 150 of Augusta Georgia; she was very proud of that, as well. Shirley is also survived by one sister, Francis Stromberg of Georgia. Shirley's sister Judy Anderson preceded her. Mother, we will miss our time with you always. Cremation services are provided by Cumberland Funeral Home of Monteagle.
