Mrs. Goldie Lorene Shrum, age 92, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Miller County Hospital in Flowery Branch, Georgia. She was a daughter of the late Baxter Carrick and Hessie Frederick Carrick and was preceded in death by her husband Paul Shrum; brothers, Glen Carrick, John Carrick; sister, Juanita Lewis.
Survivors include her children, Sadie Costantino, Spring Hill, FL; Mary Lou Caughron, Flowery Branch, GA; Paul Allen Shrum, Lebanon, TN; brother, Benny Carrick; sisters, Grace Nunley, Sallie Chastain; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hobbs Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. -2:00 P.M. Saturday. Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee, (931)592-3691.
