Obituary of Michael Nunley

Michael Thomas "Mody" Nunley age 55 of Tracy City passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016. Mody was a member of Chestnut Springs Congregational Methodist Church, he worked as a supervisor for the Tennessee Department of Transportation in Chattanooga. Mody loved nature, the outdoors, horses and was an avid deer hunter. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence E. Nunley; brother, Donnie Lee Nunley; grandparents, Jim "Mutt" Nunley, Thomas and Joyce Smartt. Survivors include his wife, Brooke Nunley; son, Colton Nunley both of Tracy City; daughter, Niqui Nunley and granddaughter, Ella Cleek of Palmer; mother, Judy Nunley, Coalmont; brother, Ronnie (Beverly) Nunley, Coalmont; sisters, Debbie (Louie) Ladd, Monteagle, Teresa (Tim) Nunley, Tracy City, Sherri Nunley, Coalmont; grandmother, Mrs. Mary "Duck" Nunley, Coalmont; several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Mody's uncle, Minister Joe Nunley officiating. Burial will be in Coalmont Cemetery.
